Un evento de mi niñez que recuerdo, es cuando fui de vacaciones por 3 semanas a los L.A. en 2006. Por que ha sido la única vez que he viajado en avión y visitado muchos lugares interesantes. Recuerdo que visite el parque de diversiones Knott’s Berry Farm, ESTUDIOS UNIVERSALES, el zoológico y otros lugares.
Un evento de mi adolescencia que recuerdo, es cuando anoté un gol muy importante con la selección de fútbol de mi preparatoria. Habíamos perdido el partido de ida contra la selección de una preparatoria que tenía jugadores muy buenos y en algunas ocasiones con mayor promedio de edad. El partido estuvo muy díficil íbamos 0-0 y la barra de ese equipo nos insultaban. Recuerdo que estaba tan exhausto como todo mi equipo, pero mi padre había encontrado tiempo en su trabajo para ir a verme y sentía que no lo debía decepcionar. Ya que el fue un gran jugador. Entonces, casi al final del partido uno de mis compañeros pasó un balón entre la línea defensiva y me anticipé, quedando solo contra el portero y anoté. El entrenador contrario estaba enfurecido y ganamos solamente con ese gol.
Un evento de mi joven adultez que recuerdo, es cuando asistí a un retiro de silencio y oración en Chalatenango. Recuerdo estar en una loma entre grandes arboles y un clima muy helado. Sentí que podía morir feliz ahí rodeado de esa increíble paz.
